Coheed and Cambria kick off their spring 2012 southeast US tour at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, VA on 4/29/12. This show saw the return of original drummer Josh Eppard, finally back home with the band after years apart due to personal struggles, and the introduction of new bassist Zach Cooper. In addition to a stunning new line-up, new and rare songs such as “Deranged”, “Apollo I: the Writing Writer”, “Cuts Marked in the March of Men”, full-band electric “Sentry the Defiant”, and a cover of Gotye’s hit “Somebody That I Used To Know” were added to the setlist for an intense show experience. Coheed fans will remember this show as a milestone, and it certainly has marked a new era in the band’s evolution.

La Llorona is a Mexican urban legend, several variations exist yet they are all very similar. One variation goes as follows; La Llorona was a woman who had several children. She became aware that her husband was having an affair with another woman. Out of anger and revenge she drowned her children in a river, after doing so, she realized the impact of her actions, now she cries out for her children by the river.
